Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory is hiring a Power Grid Dynamics Engineer Lead to lead research on electrical power grid infrastructure, including power grid dynamics modeling, transient stability, and electromagnetic transient simulation. The role supports the Cyber and Infrastructure Resilience program, collaborates with scientists, engineers, DOE, and other federal and private-sector partners, develops research roadmaps and collaborations, secures funding, and co-authors scientific publications. The position may follow a hybrid schedule, requires a DOE Q-level clearance and U.S. citizenship, and offers an annual salary of $175,530 to $267,060 depending on the SES level.
