TCAT-Jackson is hiring a full-time Power Line Construction and Maintenance Technology Instructor for its Whiteville Extension Campus. The role teaches classroom, laboratory, and field instruction covering power line basics, safety practices, climbing structures, electrical theory, utility operations, underground and overhead line construction, transformer connections, equipment operation, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The instructor will also monitor and grade students, maintain records, assist with recruitment and placement, participate in professional development, and maintain industry advisory relationships. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, industry-accepted lineman training, and at least three years of power line construction and maintenance experience as a Journeyman Lineman.
