Description
The role is responsible for repairing and performing preventive maintenance on diesel engines, trucks, and forklifts; inspecting, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and testing equipment; preparing FMCSA and regulatory safety documents; and replacing defective parts. It requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of experience or trade-school completion, mechanical ability, hand-tool and test-equipment skills, and the ability to work with heavy equipment in varied conditions. A valid CDL and acceptable MVR are required if driving on public roads, and the position may require night and weekend work.
