Description
The Project Engineer manages the design and construction of substation projects, including estimating, scoping, specifications, drawings, computations, quality control, client coordination, and project invoicing. The role requires an electrical engineering bachelor’s degree, a Professional Engineering license, at least five years of substation physical or protection and control design experience, and proficiency in substation schematics, relaying, settings, and electrical standards. The schedule is 40 hours per week Monday through Friday, with possible extended hours, weekends, holidays, on-call, and callout requirements.
