Description
MWResource is hiring a hybrid Electrical Interconnection Engineer for a 12-month engagement. The role provides electrical engineering analysis and technical support for interconnecting new generation resources and planning the electric power system, including powerflow studies, interconnection application reviews, system modeling, operating-result analysis, workflow improvements, and stakeholder communication. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent education-and-experience combination, with entry-level experience under one year or level-2 experience of two years in the electric utility industry. Preferred qualifications include PSSE and TARA experience, transfer analysis, Python or VBA, database querying, and technical reporting. The base pay is $50–$60 per hour, with medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and 401(k) benefits for U.S.-based consultants.
