MISO is hiring a Power System Operations Engineer I for its Real Time Operations group as an Engineer in Reserve position. The role trains the engineer in MISO’s transmission footprint, Energy Management Systems, ICCP and SCADA inputs, state estimation, and contingency analysis while preparing for future shift work. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in an electrical or computer engineering field, willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift, and offers a base salary of $80,000–$90,000 USD annually plus a 7.5% shift differential and an annual bonus opportunity.
