Description
SEL Engineering Services is hiring a Project Engineer - Automation to own the planning, design, development, testing, and commissioning of power-system automation projects. The role leads project engineering teams, defines deliverables and schedules, researches equipment and emerging technologies, develops control logic and network configurations, supports SCADA and HMI applications, and prepares field safety and commissioning procedures. The position requires at least four years of relevant experience, willingness to travel at least 50%, and knowledge of protocols such as IEC-61850, DNP, and Modbus. Multiple on-site locations are available, with a stated starting pay range of $110,000 to $175,000 per year.
