Description
Boom Supersonic is hiring a Medium-Voltage Electrical Engineer to lead the end-to-end design, commissioning, and field testing of a 13.8kV medium-voltage power system for its Superpower industrial gas turbine. The role covers MV architecture, switchgear and generator circuit breaker specification, protection coordination, relay settings, fault-current management, generator excitation and voltage regulation, synchronization, load acceptance, grounding, metering, and arc-flash safety. The engineer will work through preliminary design, detailed design, first energization, endurance testing, and field commissioning, with experience in industrial or power-generation medium-voltage systems preferred.
