Shield AI is hiring a full-time Power Systems Engineer to define, design, develop, integrate, and field a next-generation autonomous aircraft power system. The role covers high-power generation, regulation, distribution, power quality, control, custom high-power and high-voltage electronics, uninterruptible power systems, battery systems, make-vs-buy trade studies, testing, verification, debugging, and leadership of power-system engineering teams. Candidates need at least 10 years of relevant experience, power-system design experience on large aircraft or an equivalent system, and a track record of delivering power-system and power-electronic products to market.
