Description
Olsson is seeking a Power Systems Engineer to support large-scale data center projects and utility interconnections. The role focuses on building and validating PSCAD EMT models to demonstrate reliable grid performance, evaluate system behavior during faults, voltage and frequency disturbances, and weak-grid conditions, and support model reviews through commissioning. The engineer will collaborate with internal teams, utilities, and equipment manufacturers and must have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, at least five years of power-systems experience with hands-on PSCAD EMT modeling, knowledge of power-electronics-based loads and grid interconnection requirements, strong technical writing and collaboration skills, and a licensed engineer status.
