Description
ERCOT is hiring a Power Systems Modeling Engineer to develop and maintain transmission system models for real-time operations and transmission planning. The role includes network model development, model data validation, software and database infrastructure, Java, C#, Python, and SQL tools, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field is required, along with experience in at least one programming language and, depending on level, 1–5 years of relevant experience. The position is hybrid, with at least 2–3 days per week on-site in Taylor, Texas, and a salary range of $87,000 to $120,000.
