ERCOT is hiring a Power Systems Planning Modeling Engineer to develop and maintain steady-state, short-circuit, and geomagnetic disturbance transmission planning models, validate model data, build modeling software, and support model management across internal and external stakeholders. The role requires an electrical engineering degree or equivalent knowledge, programming experience in Python, Java, or C#, and at least one year of relevant experience for Level 2, three years for Level 3, or five years for Senior level. It is a hybrid position based in Taylor, Texas, requiring on-site work at least two to three days per week, with a salary range of $109,000 to $150,000.
