Description
Valard Construction is hiring Powerline Technician Apprentices in the Timmins, Ontario area to work with journeyperson powerline technicians installing and inspecting electrical distribution facilities, operating line trucks, maintaining poles and towers, splicing and insulating conductors, installing underground facilities, and performing energized line work. Applicants must be enrolled in an applicable Ontario apprenticeship program, hold a valid driver’s license, be willing to work away from home and varied shifts, and join the Canadian Union of Skilled Workers. The position pays $28.15–$45.04 per hour depending on experience and qualifications, with benefits provided by CUSW.
