Naka Power Utilities (NWT) is hiring a Powerline Technician to construct, operate, and maintain overhead and underground power lines, substations, street lighting, and related electrical equipment in Hay River, Riverwoods, or Enterprise, Northwest Territories. The role includes system switching, maintenance programs, inspections, fault diagnosis, emergency response, outage coordination, customer service, equipment operation, and supervision of contracted labor and apprentices. Applicants need a Journeyperson Powerline Technician Certificate, Interprovincial Red Seal eligibility, a Class 5 vehicle operator's license, and a First Aid Certificate; live-line training is preferred.
