Description
The Supplier Quality Engineer manages quality claims and supplier quality for BBM purchasing parts after SOP, develops incoming inspection strategies, monitors quality performance, escalates issues, and leads supplier and internal quality improvement initiatives. The role also handles failure-cost collection and technical plausibility checks, coordinates between manufacturing, purchasing, and suppliers, and contributes lessons learned to other plants and quality programs. It requires a bachelor's degree or higher in science or engineering and more than three years of quality management or supplier quality experience.
