Description
Coherent Corp. is seeking a quality professional to lead process optimization, new product introduction (NPI) line-readiness reviews, quality planning, statistical process control, in-line quality improvement, product inspections, failure analysis, corrective and preventive actions, documentation, employee training, and customer complaint resolution. The role coordinates engineering, production, quality-control, and customer-quality teams; leads audits and improvement projects; supports ISO 9000/TL 9000 compliance; and requires a bachelor's degree or higher plus at least five years of line quality-control experience. Opto-electronics manufacturing experience, internal-auditor qualification, and proficiency with SPC, FMEA, QC 7 tools, and GR&R are preferred or required qualifications described in the posting.
