Google is hiring a Practice Customer Developer (CE) specializing in Cloud AI to partner with technical sales teams and accelerate complex, specialized workload adoption. The role combines sales strategy, customer consultation, prototyping, proof-of-concept and demo development, and technical problem-solving to deliver customer-tailored Google Cloud solutions. It also involves contributing reusable solutions, documenting customer feature requests, and providing feedback to product and developer teams. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, six years of cloud-native architecture experience in a customer-facing or support role, and experience with machine learning, AI agent orchestration, and technical stakeholder presentations. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, scalable distributed-systems experience, and deep-learning or cloud-technology experience. The role is based in Toronto or Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, with a CAD 162,000–166,000 base salary, a 42.86% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
