Description
The Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) Registered Nurse evaluates and prepares patients for scheduled surgical or procedural interventions. Duties include preoperative phone interviews, medical history and medication review, physical assessments, patient education, EHR verification of consents and records, medication administration, and care of preoperative and postoperative patients. The role works Monday through Friday on a PRN basis from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with periodic work in preoperative and recovery areas.
