Southwestern Oregon Community College is hiring a part-time Pre-Apprenticeship Instructor for its CTE/Instruction department. The role is 90% teaching and 10% general duties, including instructing Pre-Apprenticeship and construction courses, developing syllabi, evaluating students, using varied instructional methods, and collaborating with colleagues and students. Applicants need three years of Heavy Equipment Operating experience or related construction experience, knowledge of instructional and computer technologies, and the ability to communicate effectively in English. The position is based at the Coos and Curry County Campuses, requires Oregon residency, and does not offer visa sponsorship.
