Description
The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is hiring a full-time Pre K Counts Lead Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year, a 10-month position from August through June. The role provides safe, developmentally appropriate preschool education, plans and delivers child-centered lessons, supervises classroom staff, maintains records, communicates with families, conducts developmental assessments, and manages classroom resources. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and PA Teacher certification as an Instructional Level I or II teacher, maintain that certification, and complete required professional development. The position pays $25.00–$35.00 per hour and includes YMCA membership, programming discounts, and health, dental, and vision insurance.
