Description
The Pre-op/Stepdown Nurse provides nursing care to patients in an Ambulatory Surgical Center, including adult, pediatric, neonatal, adolescent, and geriatric patients. The role assesses perioperative needs, follows physician orders and center policies, acts as a patient advocate, and provides continuity of care through collaboration with the healthcare team. Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing school, hold a current state RN license, have CPR and PALS, and have at least one year of experience in pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative surgical patient care.
