Description
The Pre-Testing Technician performs anterior-segment ophthalmic testing in a clinic setting, including biometry, keratometry, A-scans, auto-refraction, corneal topography, pachymetry, IOL power calculations, and other diagnostic procedures. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, COA certification, and preferred COT certification and specialized testing experience. It involves frequent patient interaction, communication with technicians and physicians, and regular use of ophthalmic equipment.
