Coherent Corp. is seeking a Diamond Flycutter Operator to machine plano and cylinder mirrors and lens components to drawing and engineering specifications using a diamond flycut machine. The role involves machine and tool setup, precision measurement and verification of part thickness and figure, process documentation, quality checks, minor troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, multitasking across machines, and adherence to safety and environmental procedures in a clean-room manufacturing environment. A high school diploma or GED and 0–2 years of manufacturing experience are required; the position works afternoon or midnight shifts and is subject to ITAR citizenship or protected-status eligibility requirements.
