Description
Materion is hiring a full-time precision machining specialist in Dangjin-si, Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea to operate and manage DNS multi-axis CNC machines for sputtering target materials. The role includes CMM-based dimensional inspection, buffing and polishing to achieve required surface roughness, process optimization, tooling design, and CAM programming using Esprit. Candidates need 7–10+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience, strong drawing-reading and metrology skills, high school graduation or higher, and the ability to work proactively and mentor others. AutoCAD/Inventor, non-ferrous metals experience, relevant technical certifications, and prior semiconductor materials or sputtering target industry experience are preferred.
