Description
Jenoptik is seeking a precision mechanical designer to independently develop and design functional, manufacturing-ready precision mechanical, optomechanical, and mechatronic assemblies. The role includes creating 3D models and engineering drawings, performing strength, stiffness, and thermal analyses, selecting materials and components, maintaining design documentation, collaborating with R&D, manufacturing, and service teams, optimizing existing products, and supporting prototype assembly and commissioning. Candidates should have relevant technical training and work experience, strong CAD and standards knowledge, German C1 and basic English skills, and willingness to travel up to 20% for customer-site assignments.
