Description
The Preconstruction Project Manager oversees preconstruction teams and manages risk, estimating, budgeting, cost controls, procurement, contract and change-control processes, project quality, safety, communication, and project logistics. The role may also serve as a Design Manager on alternative-delivery projects and use Critical Path Method scheduling. It requires an engineering degree or equivalent technical training, extensive estimating experience, proficiency with P6, enterprise project management systems, estimating software, and Microsoft Office, and the ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment.
