Description
The Preconstruction Estimator supports Lead Estimators and/or Preconstruction Managers through the preconstruction launch process, including value engineering, budget controls, alternative and comparative studies, constructability reviews, and Target Value Design. The role prepares and reviews estimates, bids, and Guaranteed Maximum Prices; coordinates trade partner pricing and bid lists; performs quantity take-offs and BIM-based analysis; evaluates design documents and project conditions; and leads or supports lump-sum bidding and estimate submission. The position reports to a Preconstruction Manager or Regional Preconstruction Manager and may supervise direct reports.
