Monteith Construction is hiring a Preconstruction Manager to provide full estimating services for commercial building projects across North Carolina and South Carolina. The role includes material take-offs, plan and specification interpretation, bid and proposal review, conceptual and price estimates, subcontractor coordination, cost-data communication, and contract follow-up. Candidates need 3–5 years of construction management or estimating experience, strong communication and organizational skills, electronic take-off and estimating software proficiency, and the ability to travel; a bachelor’s degree in a related field is strongly preferred.
