Pepper Construction is hiring a Preconstruction Project Manager to lead preconstruction activities before construction begins, including quantity surveys, pricing, scopes of work, value engineering, building systems analysis, constructability reviews, cost and escalation analysis, conceptual estimates, bid trade leveling, and cost-driver analysis. The role also involves leadership, communication with clients and design teams, and mentoring less experienced team members. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related technical area, at least five years of experience, and prior preconstruction experience on projects exceeding $5 million; the position is based at the Cincinnati (Lockland) office.
