Description
Magna Powertrain is hiring a Preform Tooling and Process Technician to manage preform consumable tooling inventory, ensure tooling and design revisions support production, maintain digital inventory and usage records, analyze tooling failures, optimize machine parameters and tooling life, coordinate with suppliers, support changeovers and repairs, troubleshoot equipment and process inefficiencies, train operators, perform inspections, and drive quality and continuous-improvement activities in an automotive plant environment. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, preferably a related college diploma, two to three years of hands-on automotive experience, knowledge of manufacturing and quality methodologies, blueprint reading, SolidWorks, Microsoft Office, AS400, and barcode labeling systems.
