Description
The Early Childhood Teacher plans and executes developmentally appropriate classroom activities for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years, maintains child records and reports, conducts home visits and parent conferences, supports individualized learning plans, and participates in special-needs staffing. The role requires a bachelor's or advanced degree in an early childhood or child development field, two years of experience with children in the specified age range, Pennsylvania Early Childhood Education certification, bilingual ability preferred, and current physical, tuberculosis, and other clearances. It also requires flexible evening and weekend hours, rural travel, physical lifting, and an automobile with a driver's license and insurance.
