Description
The Food Preparation Assistant prepares meals for residents in an assisted-living setting by operating kitchen equipment, measuring and mixing ingredients, preparing vegetables and sides, assisting with specialized diets, checking plated food against menu selections, and maintaining kitchen and pantry cleanliness. The role offers two schedules, 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. or 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and prefers a high school diploma, food-preparation experience, and healthcare-facility experience.
