Description
Great Western Dining Service is hiring a Prep Cook at Ranger College to prepare dishes and support kitchen operations. The role includes setting up workstations, labeling and stocking ingredients, measuring and chopping, basic cooking, preparing simple dishes, maintaining sanitation and cleanliness, and following nutrition and safety guidelines. Candidates should have prep cook experience, knowledge of kitchen health and safety rules, manual dexterity, teamwork, communication, patience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The position also requires continuous walking and mobility for up to eight hours per day, plus the ability to reach, bend, stoop, push or pull, and frequently lift or move up to 30 pounds.
