Description
The Prep Cook reports to the Restaurant Manager and is responsible for preparing proteins, vegetables, sauces, and other menu items according to recipes; using vegetable choppers and robot coupes; loading and unloading ovens and steamers; labeling and storing products; and maintaining food-prep areas, equipment, and sanitation standards. The role also supports team coordination, may assist with dishwashing, and participates in training new employees. Candidates must speak basic English, be physically and mentally able to perform the work, follow a substance-free work environment, and be available for nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours. Compensation is $16–$17 per hour to start, based on experience.
