Description
The Prep Operator is responsible for blade preparation before final assembly, completing mid and final prep operations using abrasive wheels, sanding belts, polishing compounds and fixtures. Responsibilities include safety compliance, paperwork verification, visual inspection, meeting QA standards, time management, equipment maintenance, and communication of issues. The role requires excellent communication, time management, manual dexterity, visual scrutiny, and the ability to lift 40lbs and stand for long periods. A GED/High School Diploma and manufacturing experience are preferred.
