Description
The Plant Maintenance Technician performs maintenance on pumps, dryers, screens, cyclones, piping, conveyors, and material-handling chutes; welds and uses acetylene/oxygen torches; operates heavy equipment; stages parts and tools; performs fabrication; and assists with production and plant-load-out operations. The role reports to a Supervisor, requires a Kentucky Surface Miner Certification, and involves Monday-through-Friday work with some weekend work and possible overtime. The position requires the ability to lift more than 50 pounds, climb and work from ladders, catwalks, and man-lifts, and work in confined spaces.
