Description
The Associate Teacher supports the YMCA of Muncie’s Mitchell Early Childhood and Family Center by instructing children in developmentally appropriate activities, assisting the Lead Teacher with a Reggio Emilia-inspired emergent curriculum, maintaining documentation and learning environments, supporting families and volunteers, and helping with member services and fundraising. The role requires an associate’s degree in early childhood education or child development, current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications, required child-protection and health training, one to three years of experience working with children in a licensed or NAEYC-accredited center, and a valid driver’s license.
