Description
The nonprofit community center is hiring a bus driver to operate a gasoline-powered 25-passenger bus and transport students between neighborhoods, schools, school activities, and programs. The role includes maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness, following routes and schedules, communicating with staff and parents, preparing trip and fuel reports, complying with safety and insurance obligations, and monitoring passenger comfort. The position requires a valid commercial or chauffeur license, a clean driving record, a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years of driving experience, fingerprint clearance, and age 21 or older. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with an hourly starting pay of $16.00 to $18.00 and health insurance incentives and benefits.
