ADAPT Community Network is hiring a Preschool Certified Teacher Assistant for its William O'Connor: Midwood School. The role provides physical and programmatic support to children, assists with classroom instruction and activities, maintains records and confidentiality, supports special education services, and may substitute in other classrooms. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, NYS Teacher Assistant Certification at Level I, II, or III, and completion of specified child safety workshops; six months of related experience is preferred. The position pays $19.06–$23.05 per hour after probation and includes benefits for full-time employees.
