ADAPT Community Network is seeking a Preschool Special Education Teacher to join their team at the Harry H. Gordon School in Bronx, NY. This full-time position involves conducting educational classes for preschool or early intervention students, assessing and preparing Individualized Family Services Plans (IFSP)/Individualized Educational Programs (IEP)s, implementing and evaluating goals, participating in student transitioning activities, providing annual educational assessments, adapting lesson plans, maintaining records, ensuring student dignity and confidentiality, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The teacher will also supervise Teacher Assistants, conduct interviews, manage evaluations, and participate in various school and community events.
