Description
The Preservation & Redevelopment Program Manager serves as the City’s technical expert for downtown planning, architectural design, historic preservation, and development review processes. The role leads the Downtown Redevelopment Planning project, administers historic preservation policies and ordinances, provides technical guidance to staff, developers, and the public, conducts zoning, subdivision, and site-plan reviews, supports the Historic and Architectural Review Commission, and coordinates implementation of the Downtown Master Plan. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a planning-related field and four years of progressively responsible professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience; a master’s degree may substitute for one year of experience. The role is full-time and offers an annual salary of $83,382.52 to $104,457.60, effective October 1, 2026.
