Description
The Press Brake Operator will set up and operate manual, semi-automatic, or CNC press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets and components according to engineering drawings and specifications. The role includes selecting tooling, adjusting machine settings, reading blueprints, inspecting finished parts, maintaining equipment, following safety procedures, and keeping production records. A high school diploma or GED and experience with sheet metal are required, while CNC programming, technical training, OSHA certification, and forklift certification are preferred. The position involves standing or walking, working in loud environments, using ladders and platforms, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
