Protolabs is hiring a Press Brake Specialist for a second-shift manufacturing role from Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The role involves setting up, operating, and optimizing Amada, Cincinnati, and/or Bystronics press brakes; programming bends and transfers; reading blueprints and geometric tolerances; laying out flat patterns; inspecting parts; calculating material gains and losses; and training less experienced operators. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, sheet-metal manufacturing experience with press brakes, blueprint and tolerance knowledge, mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with tools such as SolidWorks and measuring instruments. The position offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus, a second-shift differential of $2.40, health and dental/vision insurance, retirement benefits, paid leave, and other employee benefits.
