Description
The Offset Press Operator sets up, operates, adjusts, maintains, and performs minor repairs on single- or multi-color offset presses. Responsibilities include make-ready tasks, plate and cylinder inspection, color and register adjustments, press cleaning and lubrication, manufacturer-recommended maintenance, and feeder and feedboard adjustments. The role requires knowledge of offset printing procedures, equipment, materials, safety requirements, job specifications, and press capabilities, along with micrometer and routine maintenance skills. The stated pay is $21.80 per hour, with possible overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay, plus medical, dental, vision, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) matching, life insurance, and other benefits.
