Description
The Operator Apprentice learns the offset printing trade under the guidance of a Print Lead or Print Manager, with the goal of independently setting up and operating a press safely while achieving quality and production standards. The role includes reviewing job tickets, machine setup and operation, troubleshooting, quality inspection, documentation, maintenance, safety training, and assisting with other press duties. The apprentice must have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of experience feeding or assisting with offset or sheet-fed press operation, mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills, and the ability to work mandatory overtime and shift as needed. The 1st-shift position is based at the Mansfield Plant in Mansfield, Texas.
