Smyth-Austin is hiring a Press Operator Assistant for its Austin, Minnesota facility to support the setup, operation, and maintenance of printing presses. The role includes preparing pressroom documentation, managing materials and waste, maintaining safety and cleanliness, troubleshooting workflow issues, and supporting new product development. The position offers a night-shift schedule of three 12.25-hour days and includes medical, dental, vision, paid time off, holidays, disability, life insurance, and other benefits. A high school diploma or equivalent and mechanical aptitude are required, while experience with measurements and calculations is preferred, along with knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and ISO quality systems.
