Description
The role involves setting up, adjusting, operating, and maintaining gravure or multi-color offset presses to produce single-, two-, and/or multi-color work with critical color values and registration. Responsibilities include reviewing job specifications, performing make-ready tasks such as plate and cylinder installation, making color and press adjustments, cleaning and lubricating equipment, conducting periodic maintenance, and performing minor repairs. The position requires knowledge of printing techniques, materials, equipment, safety requirements, job specifications, press capabilities, and the use of a micrometer for plate alignment.
