Description
The Printing Press Operator controls and operates a multicolor printing press, sets up jobs from supplied proofs, monitors production speed and quality, coordinates with feeder operators, completes job documentation, performs press maintenance, and prepares the press for shift change. The role requires a high school diploma, color and vision testing, drug and background screening, mechanical aptitude, computer skills, and the ability to lift an average of 50 pounds; previous printing press experience is preferred, with Heidelberg experience noted as a plus.
