BESTpro Personalkonzepte GmbH is staffing a full-time Press Setter / Machine Setter role in Solingen for a metal-industry client. The position involves independently setting up and operating cut-off and slitting presses, aligning cutting tools, monitoring material feeds, checking slitting operations, adjusting machine settings, supporting maintenance and troubleshooting, unloading raw material with a gantry crane, and entering material and BDE data. Applicants need completed press-setter or comparable skilled-trade training, experience with presses or slitting presses, and ideally crane certification; the role offers shift work, 37.5 hours per week, above-tariff pay, bonuses, and extensive benefits.
