Bet Tzedek Legal Services is hiring a mid-level Staff Attorney II for its Preventing and Ending Homelessness Project in Southern California. The attorney will provide trauma-informed civil legal services to people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, including eviction defense, housing discrimination, tenants’ rights, record sealing, and related matters. Responsibilities include litigation, client intake, legal education, outreach, coordination with social service providers, and local travel throughout Los Angeles County. The role requires California Bar membership, at least three years of legal practice, housing-related legal experience, civil litigation proficiency, and strong case management and interpersonal skills.
